Lorna J. Stuckey Moore, 52, of Wildwood Dr., passed
away peacefully Sunday (Feb. 22, 2015) at home, surrounded by her loved ones,
due to her battle with cancer.
Born May 20, 1962, in Coudersport, she was a daughter
of Robert M. and Ardith Vanocker Stuckey. She was married to Ronald
E. Moore, Sr.
Lorna had worked as a home health care giver with
Sweden Valley Manor and also Voice of Independence. She most
recently worked in the Deli at Costa’s Market, Smethport.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Rebecca) Moore,
Jr. of Turtlepoint, Donald F. Green, III of Jamestown, NY; two daughters, Kelly
(Dennis) Moore of Port Allegany, Dianna Green of Bradford; 8 grandchildren:
Brianna, Cole, Case, Chloe, Aubri, and Aaron Moore, Isaiah and Jaden Green;
life partner, Donald F. Green, Jr. of Port Allegany; 7 brothers, William
(Nancy) Stuckey of Elkland, PA, Robert (Veronica) Stuckey of Bradford, George
(Tanya) Stuckey, George (Jenny) Carr, Donald (Luann) Gamet, Russ (Heidi) Gamet
all of Port Allegany, Kenneth (Joyce) Gamet of Turtlepoint; three
sisters, Julie McGee of Mansfield, PA, Ada (Ted) Anthony and Linda (Harrison)
Fuller both of Port Allegany; lifelong friend Brenda Haggard; and several
nieces and nephews, and Mimi to many others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert
Stuckey and Ardith Ewing, stepparents, Chuck Ewing and Geraldine Stuckey; two
brothers, Charlie “Chaz” Gamet, Robert Gamet; and a sister, Roxianne Gamet.
A memorial service will be held Sunday (Mar. 8, 2015)
at 2 p.m. in the East Smethport United Christian Church, with Rev. Allen Young,
pastor officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
