Cheerleaders Honored



Port Allegany High School senior cheerleaders were honored during the Lady Gator Basketball Senior Night Ceremony held February 4 at the school.



The first to be honored was Hannah Buchsenschutz, the daughter of Bill and Tonya Buchsenschutz.  She has lettered in cheerleading for six years.  She has earned four letters in basketball cheerleading and has served as captain for two years.  Hannah is a six-year football cheerleader, serving as captain for four years and was a wrestling cheerleader for two years.  Hannah was selected as a Big 30 Cheerleader.  Hannah is a three-year member of the Yearbook Staff and played Golf for two years and served as captain.  Hannah was in one musical and is a five-year member of the chorus.
 
 
Farrah Fischer is the daughter of Mike, Jr. and Charlene Fischer.  She has lettered in cheerleading for three years and currently serves as captain.  Farrah is also a four-year member of the Lady Gator Soccer team and served as captain in the 2014 season.  She has lettered in track for three years and was a member of the Ninth Grade Chorus.  Farrah has had perfect attendance for four years in high school including two years perfect attendance at the Career and Technical Institute.  She performed in the opening and closing ceremonies as President of Skills USA Conference.  She completed in the Skills USA in the Cosmetology category.  Farrah plans to attend college for Business Management and entrepreneurship and hopes to own her own salon.
 
 
Emilee Harkness is the daughter of Samantha Harkness.  Emilee has lettered one year in basketball cheerleading and two years in football cheerleading.  She has studied dance for nine years at the Sandy Johnson School of Dance and is an Alumnus of the 2012 Celtic Culture People to People Student Ambassador Program.  Emily is a one-year member of the Yearbook Staff and is proud to be a member of the Student Honor Roll.  Emily plans to attend Edinburg University majoring in Psychology and minor in Creative Writing.


Sabrina Jungclaus is the daughter of Ed and Joyce Jungclaus.  She has cheered for basketball for one year and football for one year.  Sabrina has illustrated and published two children's books.  Her future plans include attending Edinburg University to major in Fine Arts.

 
Hannah Ostrander is the daughter of Bruce and Sybil Taylor.  She was escorted by her grandma, Mary Ostrander.  Hannah has been a winter cheerleader for four years, serving as captain for one year.  She is a three-year member of the spring and fall Reading Competitions; a two-year member of the National Honor Society; a two-year member of the Peer Helpers and a one-year member of the Yearbook Staff.  Hannah represented PAHS at the 2014 Flaming Foliage.  Hannah's future plans include attending Lock haven University for a degree in Secondary Education in Chemistry.

Underclass cheerleaders include Hannah Bosworth, Morgan Causer, Kennedy Dates, Sarah Hardes, Reece Kittilson, Michelle Meacham, Brittany Stoddard, Shaylee Caulkins, Mikaella Corah, Kaitlyn Goodreau, Kelsie Keller, Joyanna Landes, Cheyenne Poorman and Rose Thomas.  Cheerleading coaches are Missy Causer and Breanna Nichols.  Pam Fischer Photos
