Winter Weather ADVISORY

 
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY... 
 
...WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
10 AM EST MONDAY. THE WIND CHILL WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* HAZARDS...SNOW...BLOWING SNOW AND DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.

* WIND CHILLS...25 TO 35 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

* TIMING...PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW WILL BE FROM MIDDAY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOWERS AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO
  TONIGHT.  A PROLONGED PERIOD OF DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WITH LOCALIZED WHITE-OUTS POSSIBLE IN HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS. FROSTBITE TO EXPOSED SKIN IN 15
  MINUTES.
