Gator Guys Honored

 

Senior Night 2015 for the Gator Guys was held February 11 at PAHS.  The Gators hosted the Austin Panthers.

 

The lone Senior cheerleader for the Gators was Karli Haskins.  She is the daughter of Shari Baker.  Karli has cheered for football for three years and has cheered for winter sports for two years.  She is a captain for her squad and was selected as a Big 30 Cheerleader.  Karli plans to attend JCC and study Nursing.

 

Christopher Lashway was the first of two players honored.  He has played basketball for four years, lettering for three years and is a team captain.  Chris's other high school achievements include lettering in football for three years and also serving as a team captain.  He was a 2013 and 2014 AML Football All -Star.  Chris also serves as a baseball captain and has lettered three years.  He is a NTL Baseball All-Star.  His other activities include being selected to the National Honor Society, is a six-year member of the Student Council and has served as Treasurer for two years.  He has been a Peer Helper for five years, serving as treasurer for one.  He is a participant of Enrichment and is a six-year Varsity Club Member serving as Treasurer.  Chris plans to attend Clarkson University or Penn State Behrend and major in industrial Engineering.

 

 

Ben Setzer is the son of Jeana and Ronnie Setzer.  He has lettered in basketball for two years.  He was selected by the student body as the 2014 Homecoming King.  Ben has lettered two years in soccer and two years in track.  He is also a district qualifier in track.  Ben plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and major in Criminal Justice.  Ben will then apply for the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.

Other members of the varsity basketball team are Brandon McCaslin, Bladen Yeager, Jacy Richardson, Tre Garzel, David Talkington, Dylan Kio, Jordan Seefeldt, Cullen McDowell and Jordan Bell.  The team is coached by Jason Luther.

JV team members are Payton Caden, Chris Bailey, Wyatt Dean, Kaleb Deyarmin, Daniel Harris, Tyler Lashway, David Talkington, Clark Barber, Jordan Bell, Zach Gamet, Brandon McCaslin, Bladen Yeager and Zach Peters.  They are coached by Mike Bodamer. 

Rickie Bova and Matt Bodamer also served as volunteer coaches for the Gator Guys.  Drew Benson, Drew Evans, Jordan Card, Howie Stuckey and Montgomery Tanner serve as managers.  

Underclassman cheerleaders include Hannah Bosworth, Morgan Causer, Kennedy Dates, Sarah Hardes, Reece Kittilson, Michelle Meacham, Brittany Stoddard, Shaylee Caulkins, Mikaella Corah, Kaitlyn Goodreau, Kelsie Keller, Joyanna Landes, Cheyenne Poorman, Leah Fischer and Rose Thomas.  Cheerleading coaches are Missy Causer and Breanna Nichols.

The Gator Basketball Banquet is scheduled for March 12 at the Veterans Memorial.  Pam Fischer Photos
