The annual Port Allegany Rotary Comprehensive Blood
Analysis, screening for over 30 common blood tests was held recently at
the Port Allegany High School. The event was sponsored by the Rotary
Club and Cole Memorial Hospital.
Kathie Bayline is pictured registering
with Rotarians John Robinson, Charlie Cox and Christa Schott. Also
pictured is Mike Fischer, Sr. registering with Frank Rackish and
Rotarians Ki Bayline, Scott Bayline and George Baxter. Coordinator for
the blood screening was Ron Mickle.
At the meeting on February 5, held at the Moose
Family Center, there were 18 Rotarians present for a reportable
attendance of 75 percent. Anna Fair was welcomed as the club's newest
member. Smethport Rotarian Troy Herzog was the lone visitor.
It
was reported a donation of $439 would be given to the Recreational
Authority, proceeds from the Poinsettia Sale. Proceeds from the spring
flower sale will go to the Baseball Association. The S. W. Smith
Library will receive a donation of $350, proceeds from the Super Bowl
Pool.
