Extension leader and McKean County Commissioner Cliff Lane, left,
congratulates Judy and Jim Larson on receiving the Conservation
Partnership Award sponsored by Penn State Cooperative extension, the
Conservation District and the Farm Service Agency. Larsons and their
sons Jeffrey and Jason operate the farm near Smethport historically
called the Irons Farm, and have carried out many successful conservation
measures. The farm has also been named a Dairy of Distinction. Martha Knight Photo
