Celebrating 90 Years



Lloyd Eastman celebrated his 90th birthday with an Open House at the Port Allegany United Methodist Church.  During the celebration, he was presented with a memory book filled with "Letters for Lloyd".  He received letters from all over the United States, France, Argentina and Brazil.  Mr. Eastman is a life-long resident of Wrights and Port Allegany.

He and his wife, Dolores (Botera) celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 8.  The couple has four children - Lance of Allegany, NY; Pam of Port Allegany, Kevin of Savannah, GA; and Alan of Homer City.

They have eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  Mr. Eastman retired from his banking career after 64 years of service.

He is a 43-year member of the Port Allegany Rotary Club where he has 43 years of perfect attendance.  He and his wife are active members of the Port Allegany United Methodist Church.

Mr. Eastman and his family would like to thank all who participated in the "Letters for Lloyd" project and also offer thanks for those who attended his celebration.
