Wind Chill WATCH

  
AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE REGION EARLY THURSDAY. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY FRIDAY.
 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA.

* HAZARD TYPES...DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS.

* WIND CHILL...AS LOW AS 28 BELOW ZERO DUE TO TEMPERATURES AROUND 5 BELOW AND WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TIMING...THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WITHOUT PROPER PROTECTION FROM THE COLD.
