Thomas L. Saltsman,
63, of Port Allegany, died Monday (December 8, 2014) in the Charles Cole
Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.
He was born Nov. 29,
1951 in Renovo, PA, a son of William and Evelyn Royer Saltsman. He was raised
by his step father, Warren Miller. On February 27, 1971, in Port Allegany, he
married Rosemary Chirillo, who survives.
Mr. Saltsman attended
Port Allegany High School and worked as a quarryman in local stone quarries.
He enjoyed fishing,
hunting, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a huge
Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his
wife, he is survived by:
three daughters:
Evelyn (Mike Liebeck) Saltsman of Dayton, TX, Bobbie Jo ( Chris) Poorman and
Tina Saltsman, both of Port Allegany, PA
one son: Thomas
(Stacy) Saltsman of Dayton, TX
13 Grandchildren and
1 Great-Grandchild

Warren (Karen) Miller of Port Allegany
a step-sister: Sandy
Love of Elkland, MD
and several nieces
and nephews
In addition to his
parents, and his step father, Warren Miller, he was preceded in death by 3
brothers: John, LeRoy, and James Saltsman, and one nephew.
Fulfilling Thomas'
wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on
Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11:00 am, in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105
N. Main St., Port Allegany, with the Rev. Chris Stavish, pastor of the Open
Arms Community Church, Port Allegany, officiating.
