Robert E. Klawuhn, 79, of Smethport, formerly of Cyclone, died Friday (November 21, 2014) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
He was born Nov 29, 1934 in Turtlepoint, a son of Theodore and Naomi Ryan Klawuhn Homell.
Mr. Klawuhn was a graduate of Port Allegany High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
When
Bob was a young man, he worked at Carlson’s Farm in Turtlepoint. In his
adult years after his service, he worked for Owens-Illinois, now
Georgia-Pacific of Bradford, from where he retired.
He was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by:
one daughter: Rhonda (Joseph) Taylor of Bradford, PA
one step son: Thomas (Judy) Everly of LeMont, PA
two step daughters: Molly (Troy) Raszmann of Smethport and Heidi Helmich of Orlando, FL.
8 Grandchildren: Kyle, Keith, Kayla and Matthew Taylor; Chelsea, Alicia and Nathaniel Becker; and Duane (Kim) Goodsell
two great grandchildren: Sophia and Audrey Goodsell

sisters: Marie Cullen of Warren, Donna Dugener of Michigan, Josephine
Fitzsimmons of Port Allegany, Emilene Pesock of Turtlepoint, Nancy
Babcock of Port Allegany, and Patty Mistretta of Warren
two brothers: Ronald Klawuhn of Bradford and Wayne Homell of Port Allegany
a close nephew, Randy Mead of Smethport, and many more nieces and nephews.
In
addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his longtime
companion, Lucille Ann Eddy on Sept. 22, 2005, and 3 brothers and 2
sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday,
Nov. 26, from 3-5 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St.,
Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal services will begin at 5 PM,
with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church,
officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
