Cleda L. Dudley, Cook & Baker



Cleda L. Dudley, 89, a long time resident of Port Allegany, passed away on Sunday (November 23, 2014) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.

She was born Oct 10, 1925 in Bradford, a daughter of Edward and Florence Barrett Hovey. In 1945, she married Raymond Fink in Bradford, PA, who passed away in 1969. In 1973, she married Kenneth Dudley in Port Allegany, who died Jan. 16, 2009.

Mrs. Dudley worked as a cook and baker for many years. She had worked at the Butter Crust Bakery, the Canoe Place Inn, the Barnwood Restaurant, Galeotti's Restaurant in Austin, and several other local restaurants. She also had worked at Bradford Laundry for a period of time.

Cleda enjoyed playing Bingo and working on crafts and was a member of the Port Allegany Star Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by 3 children:

one daughter: Leona Ostrum of Emporium, PA

two sons: Lloyd (Barbara) Fink of Port Allegany, and Edward (Sherryl) Fink of McAllen, TX

Grandchildren: Deanna Fink, Eddie Pelchy, Ray Pelchy, Renee Riley, Duane Ostrum, Shawn Ostrum, Debra McFall, Pamela McFall, Terri McFall, and Lloyd Fink, Jr.

Step grandchildren: Michele Rittberg, Damon Parris, Tommy Parris, Billy Parris, Scott Parris, and Kevin and Kirk Saulter

19 Great Grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren

a twin sister: Theda Miller of Bradford, PA

and several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alvera Stuckey; two step daughters, Donna Dudley and Carolyn Parris; a sister, Wanita Yale; and a step grandchild, Cleda Marie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11A.M. To 1 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held at 1 PM following visitation, with the Rev. Michael Culver, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Port Allegany, officiating.

Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
