BRADFORD, PA – The
University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will host an Internet research workshop to
explain how to find credible information on the web from 6:30 to 8p.m. on Oct.
1 in room 200 of the Seneca Building, 2 Main St., Bradford.
During the hands-on
session, participants will be presented with strategies to help them locate
credible Internet sites and be able to distinguish credible sites from others
on the web.
The workshop is $25
per participant and is recommended for high school and college students, nonprofit
administrators and anyone who has difficulty acquiring quality information on
the Internet or wishes to learn more about Internet research.
