Lynn A. "Tony" Pekarski, Avid Outdoorsman

Lynn A. “Tony” Pekarski, 56, of Arnold Ave., passed away Saturday (Nov. 16, 2013) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
    

Born September 18, 1957, in Coudersport, PA, he was a son of Walter J. and Frances L. Caulkins Pekarski.
    

Tony had worked for Pittsburgh Corning Co. of Port Allegany, for 35 years, retiring in 2013.  
    

Mr. Pekarski was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of the Port Allegany High School, class of 1976.
    

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was also an avid sportsman and enjoyed gardening.  
    

Surviving is a son, Christian J. Pekarski of Port Allegany; three sisters, Loreen M. (Richard) Grant of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Debi J. (Richard) Bledsoe of Trilby, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
   

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doreen L. Fair.
    

There will be no visitation.  A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
    

Arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
