Henry A. "Hank" DeBucce, Jr., U. S. Army Veteran



Henry A. “Hank” DeBucce, Jr., 79, of Dennis Ave., passed away Monday (Oct. 21, 2013) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
    
Born March 20, 1934, in East Aurora, NY, he was a son of Henry A. and Margaret R. Siffrin DeBucce, Sr.
    
Mr. DeBucce had been employed with A & P Super Markets for 35 years, had worked for Lance Cracker Co. for 5 years, and most recently Bidwell Chev-Olds and Shultz Auto Sales of Bradford, before his retirement.
    
Henry was a graduate of the Olean High School, Class of 1954.
    
He was a veteran having served with the US Army, 165th MP Detachment, in France, during 1957-1959.
    
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Olean, NY.  
    
He was a 54-year member of the Elk’s Club of Olean, NY, Trustee, former Governor, and District President, Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 460, Port Allegany; former president of Pennsylvania Moose Association-District 8; member of Bradford’s Eagle’s Club, and American Legion, Post 258, Port Allegany.
   
He is survived by his longtime companion, Caroline Bidwell Archetto of Port Allegany, with whom he resided.
    
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 24, 2013) with Rev. James Campbell, pastor of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church of Port Allegany, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
    
A Moose service of tribute will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the Moose Lodge 460, Port Allegany.
