Come one! Come call! To the greatest little Fair on the Square. The
first annual Fair on the Square will be held on the Town Square, Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The event, which promises to have something for everyone, is sponsored
by the Nurture Committee of the Port Allegany United Methodist Church.
Some of the activities include a dunk tank, putt putt golf, face
painting, coloring contest, games and prizes. There will be many items
for sale including brooms, home decor, gift baskets,handcrafted jewelry
and Thirty-one. Some of the tasty treats available will be pies, funnel
cakes, baked food sales, s'mores, strawberry shortcake, sausage
sandwiches, fudge. popcorn, corn on the cob, walking tacos and much
more. One of the booths at the Fair on the Square will feature the bean
bag toss game for kids. Prizes will be given to all who try (one per
person). The booth is sponsored by AleCat Child Care and Learning
Center. The booth will also have a display of new Thirty-one products
and some cash and carry items as well as the child care facility's
information.
