Dance Workshops Held

The Sandy Johnson School of Dance held summer workshops during the week of July 15.  The students received a two-hour, non-stop dance class.  Beginners to Intermediate students ran first with the advanced tappers and jazz; hip hop classes following.  "In a workshop setting, students are challenged with tons of material in a short amount of time, but leave the week wishing there was more!", says owner/operator, Sandy Johnson.  The students took time for a photo shoot in some unexpected stages.  The workshop also allowed students to meet new faculty member, Teresa Ostrom.  "Teresa has already developed a good rapport with her students and they have welcomed her with open arms," says Mrs. Johnson.  Pictured during the workshop are (front row, left to right) Teagen Miller, Makenzie Burr (middle) Katie McDowell, Faith Wenner; (back) Justine Kinney, Morgan Greeley, Caroline Mmiller, Angela Redmond and Janelle Housler.  Pam Fischer Photo
