PAO Opinion and Comments

We sit here enjoying a cup of coffee, sunny skies and the simple things.  There are people in the area remembering better days, loved ones recently lost for different reasons and yet others doing a lot of talking about an alleged incident several hours from home.

First, let’s visit a history video circulating several weeks ago.  What began as a history project for several students quickly blew up in a viral sense.  Having watched and drawing our own conclusion, here’s our 2 cents.

Not having a bit of communication sense as far as a degree is concerned; we think the video was a good one.  It reminds us more of one of the old black and white videos from years ago before sound became part of what we enjoy today in any video we watch.  While we drew our own conclusions on the bleeps here and there, it was nice to see kids get involved and produce a piece for a class project.

As for what we’ve seen on the internet by some…yes, the bleeping could have been minimized.  Overall, we give the students involved an A for effort.

Your thoughts....do you feel the school district over-reacted in asking for the students' grade to be adjusted?  What grade do you feel they earned?
