Rotary Report: McDowell Speaks

S. W. Smith head librarian, Teri McDowell, was the guest speaker at the regular weekly meeting of the Port Allegany Rotary Club.  The meeting took place at the Moose Family Center.  Mrs. Teri gave an update on the library and told of the upcoming summer reading programs.  There were 13 Rotarians present for a reportable attendance of 48 percent.  Guests included the guest speaker, Exchange Student Anniek Zengerink and Smethport Rotarian Troy Herzog.  

For the third week in a row, George Baxter was deemed the Lucky Rotarian of the week.

The Rotary Club presented Teri McDowell with a check for the S. W. Smith Library.  The donation came from a recent flower sale sponsored by the club.  Teri is pictured here with Rotary secretary Christa Schott.  Pam Fischer Photo
