The employees of Twin Tier Linen Service in Coudersport celebrated the 80th birthday of their co-worker Bob Warriner on Friday, March 13th by holding an open house in his honor.
Warriner
began his career as a Route Delivery Person at TTLS in April of 1995
and has been hard at work ever since. “Bob is usually the first person
to arrive at work in the morning and he is always happy to be here. He
always has a smile on his face” said Alex Johnson, who purchased TTLS
from Gary Francis in January of 2014.
“Bob
is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known” said Johnson.
Warriner’s daily duties include the delivery of table linens, motel
linens, rugs and uniforms to many of the company’s customers in all
corners of the twin tiers of Pennsylvania and New York, returning to
Coudersport with thousands of pounds of linen to be cleaned, prepared
and packaged for Warriner to load onto his truck for the next day’s
deliveries.
Johnson
stated “It’s not often that you see a man of Bob’s age who is so happy
to be at work every day. Bob is a true inspiration and he is loved by
his customers and colleagues alike.”
The
open house celebration included visits from several friends and family
as well as the employees of TTLS. A cake, food and beverages were
provided by the employees.
When asked if he had any plans to retire, Warriner simply replied, “Nope”. Pam Fischer Photo
