Basketball Banquet

The annual Gator Basketball Banquet was held recently at the Veterans Memorial in Port Allegany.  Master of Ceremonies was Keith Delacour.  Pre-game warmups including the welcome and invocation were given by Mr. Delacour followed by first quarter activities of dinner and dessert.  The second quarter was handled by cheerleading coach Missy Causer.  Cheerleaders recognized were seniors - Hanah Buchsenschutz, Farrah Fischer, Emilee Harkness, Karli Haskins, Sabrina Jungclaus, Hannah Ostrander and Anniek Zengerink and underclassmen Hannah Bosworth, Shaylee Caulkins, Morgan Causer, Mikaella Corah, Kennedy Dates, Kaitlyn Goodreau, Sarah Hardes, Kelsie Keller, Reece Kittilson, Joyanna Landes, Michelle Meacham, Cheyenne Poorman, Cynthia Setzer, Brittany Stoddard and Rose Thomas.  In addition to Mrs. Causer, Breanna Nichols serves as assistant coach and Caitlin Lindsay serves as a volunteer coach.

Halftime was spent with Laurie Lathrop presenting the Scholar-Athlete T-shirts to:  Hannah Ostrander, Anniek Zenerink, Farrah Fischer, Joyanna Landes, Brittany Stoddard, Michelle Meacham, Rosey Thomas, Leah Fischer, Shaylee Caulkins, Mikala Corah, Cynthia Setzer, Alex Dynda, Lauren Dynda, Leah Garzel, Olivia Freer, Cailey Barnett, Chris Lashway, Ben Setzer, Jordan Seefeldt, Tre Garzel, Dylan Kio, Zach Peters, Tyler Lashway, David Talkington, Howie Stuckey, Jordan Card, Katie Ernst, Lynae Delacour, Brooke Roys, Marianna Seefeldt and Hannah Lathrop.  

Coach Kristina Francis talked about the Lady Gators during the third quarter.  Her staff includes Assistant Coach Derek Francis, Volunteer Coaches Kyley Mickle and Scott Johnson, Junior High Coach, Mike Nasto and volunteer coaches Tony Edgell and Jeff Schultz.  

In addition to the seniors, the Lady Gator Varsity team includes Katie Ernst, Autumn Buchsenschutz, Kelly Haggard, Kendra Peachy, Samanta Metzler, Marianna Seefeldt and Hannah Lathrop.  The Junior Varsity team includes Katie Ernst, Lauren Dynda, Leah Garzel, Brianna Roys, Paige Robinson, Hannah Lathrop, Nina Barber, Marianna Seefeldt and Emily Buchsenschutz.  Managers are Cailey Barnett, Olivia Freer, Kierra Keck and Bree Garzel.  

Time-included remarks by Mr. Delacour followed by the Fourth Quarter which was guided by Coach Jason Luther.  He is assisted by Junior Varsity Coach Mike Bodamer and Volunteer Coaches Rickie Bova, Matt Bodamer and Logan Hutton.  Junior High Coach is Bob Raudenbush.  In addition to the senior players, the team includes Brandon McCaslin, Bladen Yeager, Jacy Richardson, Tre Garzel, David Talkington, Drew Rosenswie, Dylan Kio, Jordan Seefeldt, Cullen McDowell, and Jordan Bell.  The Junior Varsity team includes Chris Bailey, Payton Caden, Wyatt Dean, Kaleb Deyarmin, Daniel Harris, Tyler Lashway, David Talkington, Clark Barber, Jordan Bell, Zach Gamet, Brandon McCaslin, Bladen Yeager and Zach Peters.  Managers are Jordan Card, Howie Stuckey, Montgomery Tanner, Drew Benson and Drew Evens.
