'Affairs of the Art' to exhibit work by Pitt-Bradford students





BRADFORD, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s 12th annual student art exhibition will open next week in the KOA Art Gallery in Blaisdell Hall.

“Affairs of the Art” will begin with an opening reception at noon March 20 in the KOA Speer Electronics Lobby.

Part of the university’s Spectrum Series, the show will feature distinguished artwork produced throughout the academic year by Pitt-Bradford students.  

The exhibit will include artwork from classes in ceramics, drawing, painting, new genres, digital design, photography and contemporary portraiture.

In addition, a site-specific installation from the new genres course will also debut in the Helen Hume Gallery Space of Blaisdell Hall during the opening.

The KOA Art Gallery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. “Affairs of the Art” will be on display through April 17. Both the art show and the opening reception are free and open to the public.
