Memories for Mom...

 

I'm looking for some help with a project I'm working on for  my mom's (Dolores Eastman) 90th birthday.  For my dad's 90th, we gave him a book titled "Letters for Lloyd" and many of you helped by sending letters and pictures that I put together in a book for him.  When I left my parent's house today, he was looking at  his special book...and his birthday was two years ago.  

Mom will turn 90 on the 15th of February.   We would like to make her a book titled, "Memories for Mom".  Please send birthday wishes and/or a memory you may have of her.  Include a picture of you or you and your family... or even a photo of you and Mom, if you have one.  

I'm hoping to have at least 90 memories or birthday wishes.  Mom wasn't out in the public as much as my dad, but I'm sure there are kids or staff who remember her from her years at the Liberty School; or some of her former Sunday school students; kids who once hung out at our home on Chestnut Street; people from our church family;  neighbors and friends who would have a memory or two to share.  

If you are able to participate, please write your memory or birthday wishes and include some pictures - either current, from the past, with or without Mom and send them to me via email (pamdfischer@gmail.com) or you can send through the U.S. mail to 3786 Route #155, Port Allegany, PA 16743.  If you have memories to share, but no photo, call me - I'll take one for you.  

Any help you can give with this project will be appreciated.  Please get things to me by February 10th so I have time to put the book together.  

Please pass the word.  I would like to keep this project for a surprise...especially since the surprise might be I won't get it done!
