Wrestling Senior Night

The Gator Wrestling Boosters sponsored Senior Night 2015 prior to the varsity matchup between the Gators and the Johnsonburg Rams on Friday, January 23.  

Senior Cheerleaders honored were Hannah Buchsenschutz, Karli Haskins and Hannah Ostrander.

  

Hannah "B" is the daughter of Tonya and Bill Buchsenschutz.  She has been a cheerleader for wrestling, basketball and football and has served as captain.   She was a member of the Lady Gator Golf Team, has been selected as a Big 30 Cheerleader, is a member of the Concert Choir and the Yearbook Staff.  

Karli is the daughter of Shari Baker.  She has cheered for wrestling, football and basketball and has served as a captain. She has been selected as a Big 30 Cheerleader, is a member of the French Club, Yearbook Staff, Concert Choir, 4-H and is a junior member of the Roulette Volunteer Fire Department.

Hannah "O" is the daughter of Sybil and Bruce Taylor.  She plans to attend Lock Haven University to become a chemistry teacher.  

Hunter Freer is the son of Cheryl and Jim Freer.  He wrestles at 137 pounds.  Hunter plans to become a Security Forces Specialist for the United States Air Force.

Eli Knapp is the son of Laurie and Darcy Knapp.  He wrestles at 152 pounds.  Eli is a four-year wrestling letterman, was selected at a D-9 Wrestling Champion in 2011; has served as a captain in both wrestling and soccer; is a four-year letterman of the soccer team and was selected as a UAVSL All Star for two years; was named a Big 30 Soccer All Star; participates in track, is a member of the Concert Choir, Show Choir, Concert Band, Chamber Singers and Jazz Band.  He plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology. 

Matt Main is the son of Bernadette and Bob Main.  He wrestles at 160 pounds.  He has spent years doing farm work and running heavy equipment.  His future plans are to become a Heavy Equipment Operator.  

Casey Vollmer is the son of Amy Vollmer and Aaron Vollmer.  He wrestles at 113 pounds.  Casey was a District Runner-up for two years; Regional Qualifier for two years; Regional Place Winner (4th), AMWL All-Star for two years and was selected as a Big 30 Wrestling All Star.  He plans to attend Gannon University majoring in Biomedical Engineering.  

BJ Greenman is the head coach for the Gators.  His assistants are Chad Saltsman and Greg Budd.  Underclassmen on the team are Dylan Baumgardner, Ethan Budd, Josiah Ramadan, Mac Tanner, Jacob Kallenborn, Trey Stiles and Brock Veilleux.  Allison Austin and Kait Goodreau serve as managers.  

The Junior High team is coached by Doug Triplett.  Wrestlers include Tyler Bliss, Simon Burleson, Briar Caulkins, Gavin Gustin, Eli Peruzzi, Joshua Rees, Wayne Shelley, Devin Smoker, Isaac Smoker and Reese Vollmer.   Serving as manager is Autumn Freer.  

The Cheerleaders are coached by Breanna Nichols.  Underclassmen on the squad are Morgan Causer and Joyanna Landes.
