Wind Chill ADVISORY

 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS CANCELLED THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY.

* HAZARD TYPES...DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILLS.

* WIND CHILL READINGS...AS LOW AS 23 BELOW ZERO.

* TIMING...DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL LAST THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...THE BIGGEST THREAT OVERNIGHT WILL BE THE THREAT OF FROSTBITE ON EXPOSED SKIN. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE LIGHT AND
  ONLY MINOR ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. BLOWING SNOW MAY REDUCE VISIBILITIES AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE ROADS
  CLEAR...THOUGH.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
