Watershed group lands outreach grant

COUDERSPORT—The Upper Allegheny Watershed Association (UAWA) has been awarded a $1,000 grant for organizational promotion and outreach efforts.

The funds are provided by the Dominion Foundation in a program administered by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy through a mini-grant program.

UAWA will use the funding toward costs of printing and mailing newsletters, brochures and calendars to members and to the public at large.

The Dominion Foundation is dedicated to the economic, physical and social health of the communities served by Dominion companies.

The Western Conservancy works to help conserve Pennsylvania’s diverse ecosystems through science-based strategy, leadership and collaboration.

UAWA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection, improvement and preservation of a healthy watershed for present and future generations.
