Rotary Report

 
 
The Rotary Club met October 30 at the Moose Family Center.  They welcomed Marcy Flickinger, Supervisor for the McKean County Department of Human Services Foster Care program who gave a presentation to the club.  There were 13 Rotarians present for a reportable attendance of  50 percent.  Visitors included Debbie Mallery, Exchange Student Anniek Zingerink and senior guests Rikki Rennells and K-Leigh Hill-Nelson.  Rikki lives in Roulette with her mom, Tina Freeman, two brothers - one older and one younger.  She plays softball and volleyball, is a member of the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, Show Choir and Peer Helpers.  She was selected by her peers as the 2014 Homecoming Queen.  In her spare time, Rikki enjoys reading.  After school would like to attend Edinboro University to major in Social Work.  K-Leigh is the daughter of Angel and Robert Hill.  She has three sisters and one brother.  She likes to babysit.  K-Leigh plans to attend the Pittsburgh Art Institute to study photography.   The Lucky Rotarian of the Day was Tony Flint.  Pictured:  Marcy Fickinger, K-Leigh Hill-Nelson, Rotarian Christa Schott, Anniek Zingerink and Rikki Rennells.

At the November 6 meeting, there were 15 members present for a reportable attendance of 63 percent.  Along with Exchange Student Anniek Zingerink, senior guests were Emilee Harkness and BreLynn Marsiglio.  Emilee is the daughter of Don Harkness and Samanta Mosser.  She has a brother.  She is a member of the Yellow Ribbon Club and has cheered for football and basketball.  She likes to hunt and fish.  She did some traveling with People to People.  After school she will attend Edinboro University and study English and Psychology.  BreLynn is the daughter of Carly Marsiglio.  She has a brother, Brock.  She completed her training at the Career Technical Center and continues her studies at PAHS.  She plans to attend UPB and study nursing.  Two Rotarians are celebrating birthdays in November.  They are Charlie Cox and John Robinson.  The Lucky Rotarian of the day was Marty Moses.  Pictured:  Rotarian Dave Fair, Anniek Zingerink, BreLynn Marsiglio and Emily Harkness.  Pam Fischer Photos
