Pitt-Bradford to host Chinese Family Fun class



BRADFORD, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold a Chinese Family Fun class for parents and children Saturdays Sept. 20 through Oct. 4 in the first floor art room of the Seneca Building at 2 Main St., Bradford.

During classes, participants will learn about Chinese culture, art and language. The activities will include a Chinese language workshop, Tai Chi lessons and basic Chinese calligraphy.

The classes, which are sponsored by the Division of Continuing Education and Regional Development, will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. each week and will be $35 per parent and child and $10 for each additional child.

The instructors for all lessons are Confucius Institute faculty from Wuhan University in China. Children 7 years and older may register with a parent. Participants should wear comfortable clothing for all classes.
