Pitt-Bradford, BRMC collaborate on healthy community classes



BRADFORD, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, in collaboration with the Bradford Regional Medical Center, will hold breakfast classes this fall to encourage a more healthy community.

“Women’s Health: Issues and Answers” will begin at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 14 in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons. Dr. Aris Gredzens, Dr. Rhonda Pena and midwife Kimberly Garcia will instruct the class, which will focus on prevention and developing and improving self-care for women.

“Injury Management: Don’t Make it Worse” will begin at 7:45 a.m. Nov. 18 in the University Room. Dr. Jason Kinkartz will show participants how to identify and manage common musculoskeletal injuries and when to seek medical attention. He will also discuss prevention of injuries, and pediatric and adult athletic and non-athletic injuries.
