Glass Park Event

All smiles at the formal announcement last Wednesday of plans for a Glass Park in Port Allegany were, from left, Dusti Dennis, executive director of the McKean County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, which owns the site; Robert Lehman, local plant manager for Pittsburgh Corning Corp.; Linda Devlin, executive Director of the ANF Visitors Bureau; Susan Carlson, chairman of the design committee for the park; and Pat Bodamer, president of the Main Street Revitalization Corp. The announcement was held in front of Pittsburgh Corning, by its new planter made of glass blocks, and by a sign that features an example of its newer glass block product line.
