Rotary Report

The Port Allegany Rotary Club welcomed PAHS History Teacher and the mayor of Port Allegany, George Riley.  Riley gave the club a talk about the Civil War.  Club Secretary Christa Schott gave the fellowship and attendance report stating there were 14 Rotarians present for a reportable attendance of 56 percent.  Lynn Cox was a guest of Charlie Cox.

The Port Allegany and Smethport Rotary Clubs will sponsor a Trap Shoot on August 16 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Cost is $25 for 25 birds.  Thirty-five percent of ticket sales paid out in cash prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place shooters.

Participants need to bring their own firearm, ammo and hearing protection.  Participants are reminded to bring enough ammo just in case they end up in a "Shoot Off".

The Trap Shoot will be held at the Eldred Gun Club located at 356 Whitetail Road.  All proceeds from the event will stay in the Port Allegany and Smethport areas.
