Paul H. McJunkin
passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, at 10:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Health
Center in Youngstown.
Paul was born July
20, 1937, in Ellwood City, Pa., a son of the late Jennings B. and Laura (Ward)
McJunkin.
A veteran of the U.S.
Navy, Paul served on the Independence and Roosevelt Aircraft Carriers.
Over the years Paul
had many jobs, he was a lineman, a deep sea diver, and a technical supervisor
for various credit cards. He owned Mack’s Upholstery and Carpet Cleaning,
Freedoms Den Gun Repair, and was also a courier for Associated Clinical
Laboratories. Paul was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church.
His memories will be
cherished and he will be sadly missed by his son, Grant McJunkin of Salem; two
daughters, Anna McJunkin of Coudersport, Pa. and Shawna (Michael) Dunlap of
Juneau, Alaska; one sister, Elaine Young of Austintown; eight grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; and three former wives, Hazel Wolfgang, Linda McCowan and
Evon Lloyd.
Besides his parents,
Paul was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Laura McJunkin;
sister, Dolores Farkas; and two grandchildren, Cody Starr and Sakara Dunlap.
Friends may call from
10 until 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Canfield Presbyterian Church,
104 Main St., Canfield, OH 44406, where a memorial service will be held at 11
a.m.
