Walleye Fishing 101 offered next week at Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will offer “Walleye Fishing 101 with Doug Yohe and Charlie Brant” next week.

The class will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. March 19 in the Lester and Barbara Rice Auditorium in Fisher Hall. The cost of the program, which is being offered by the university’s Division of Continuing Education and Regional Development, is $30.

Yohe and Brant are Zippo/Case-sponsored champion walleye fishermen. In 2012, they won the Cabela’s Master Walleye Circuit Qualifier in Isle, Minn.

This seminar will cover how to fish for walleye on the Kinzua Reservoir during all times of year. The fishing partners will cover types of rods, lines and various presentations, including trolling, jigging, and using live and artificial baits.
