Sixth Grade Project Leads to Adoption

Olivia Postlewait, daughter of Chad and Nicole Postlewait, volunteered her time at the SPCA as her Sixth Level Service Project at Port Allegany Elementary School.  Interacting with the animals and cleaning their dishes and toys were some of her duties at the SPCA.  During her time at the shelter, Olivia fell in love with an 8-year old lab/boxer mix and has adopted the dog which she named Kimmie.  The pair are pictured above.  Pam Fischer Photo
