Souper Bowl of caring success

The annual collection for the Souper Bowl of Caring was held Saturday morning at the Port Allegany Shop-n-Save.  Donations were also brought in to the morning worship service at the Port Allegany United Methodist Church.  Totals included $157.95 in cash, 289 cans of soup, 31 boxes of crackers and 25 other food items.  Project director, Patty Fabish, was aided by Sunday school students Nick Wilfong, Lillianne Reed, Levi Wilfong and Jessica Borowsky (pictured) and teachers Tracy Wilfong and Pam Fischer.  Not available for the photo was Kierra Keck.  Organizers would like to thank everyone who participated in the project and a special thank you to Shop-n-Save for the use of their store as well as for their donation of soup.  Pam Fischer Photo
