Rotarian Charlie Cox presented a program on his hobby, reloading, to the club at the January 30 meeting.
The Port Allegany Rotary Club met
Thursday, January 30 at the Moose Family Center. There were 17 members
present for a reportable attendance of 65 percent.
It was reported that the proceeds from the poinsettia sale, $445.05, were given to PACS (Port Allegany Community Services).
Senior guests included Kylie Bigley, introduced by Dave Fair; Shelby Dates, introduced by Joe DeMotts; and Erika Helo, introduced by Scott Bayline.

Kylie is the daughter of Scott and Cindy
Bigley. She has one brother, Todd. They live in Newell Creek. She
attends the Seneca Highlands Career Technical Center in the Health
Assistant program and has her CNA license. She is a member of the
Senior High Concert Choir. In her spare time she likes to babysit. She
plans to work as a CNA this summer and then attend BOCES to become a
LPN or RN. She has been accepted at JCC.
Shelby is the daughter of Mickey Dates and Kent Dates. She
has two sisters - Kennedy and Liberty. She is in the College Prep
course at PAHS. Shelby is a football and basketball cheerleader; she is
a member of the Chamber Singers, Show Choir, Student Council, Spanish
Club, Varsity Club and is a member of the National Honor Society. She
works at the Port Freeze and plans to attend IUP and study Respiratory
Care.
Erika is the daughter of Susan Helo and Vincent Helo. She
lives in Roulette and has a sister, Cheyenne, and a brother, Dalton.
She is interested in photography and is a member of the yearbook staff,
serving as president. Erika is a member of the Varsity Club, Student
Council and is secretary of the Spanish Club. She is a member of the
Lady Gator Soccer team and Track team. She has served as manager of the
basketball game for four years. She may attend UPB, Edinboro or Gannon
and study Criminal Justice or Wildlife Management.
