Causer Hosts Town Meetings

HARRISBURG – Rep. Martin Causer (R-Turtlepoint) is inviting area residents to join him at one of two town hall meetings scheduled for the end of February.

The first is a joint meeting with Rep. Kathy Rapp and will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. at the Kane Senior Center, 100 Fraley St., Kane. The second will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, at 8 a.m. at the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital Wellness Center, 1001 East Second St., Coudersport.

“I encourage people to come out to the meeting to talk about any questions or concerns they may have about state government,” Causer said. “I will also provide an update on the state budget and other issues on the agenda at the state Capitol.”

Causer noted several communities in western McKean County that are currently part of the 65th Legislative District served by Rapp will, as a result of the legislative redistricting process, become part of the 67th district he now represents. The change becomes effective on Dec. 1, 2014.  Redistricting takes place every 10 years based on the results of the U.S. Census and is designed to ensure equal representation for all Pennsylvanians.

Refreshments will be served at both meetings, and RSVPs are requested but not required. To register attendance, please visit www.RepCauser.com or call the office toll-free 1-866-437-8181.
