Senior Guests - Rotarian Marty Moses is pictured with the senior guests who visited Rotary on January 9.  They are Monica Crawford and MiKayla Burgess.  Also pictured is Jason Stake with guest speakers Dr. Chris Mallavarapu, Susan Freer and Denise O'Neil.

The Port Allegany Rotary Club held their weekly meeting January 9 at the Moose Family Center.  There were 16 Rotarians present for a reportable attendance of 62 percent.  In addition to the senior guests, Joe Lashway introduced visiting Rotarian Troy Herzog from the Smethport Club and Jason Stake introduced Chris Mallavarapu, MC, FACC, Susan Freer and Denise O'Neil from Olean General Hospital's Gates Vascular Institute who presented the program for the day.

Charlie Cox introduced Monica Crawford.  Her parents are Mark and Tina.  She has lots of brothers and sisters...she is the baby of the bunch.  Monica is in College Prep course at PAHS taking all honors classes.  She is a member of the Concert Choir, Lady Gator soccer and track teams, is treasurer of the Varsity Club, French Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society.  She likes to hunt and play the guitar.  Monica would like to become a nurse anesthetist and study at Gannon or Keystone.

MiKayla Burgess is the daughter of Todd and Kelli Burgess.  She has three brothers.  She studies at the Seneca Highlands Career Technical Center in the Cosmetology Shop.  She is a member of the Lady Gator Soccer team and shows horses.  She hopes to continue to study Cosmetology, perhaps in Erie, and would like to put her education to use on a Cruise Ship.

The Lucky Rotarian of the day was Ron Mickle.  Pam Fischer Photos
