Players set auditions for upcoming revue / By Martha Knight



COUDERSPORT—The Potter-McKean Players will hold open auditions for an upcoming revue at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 at Gethsemane Lutheran Hall, Port Allegany, and at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6 at  in the Presbyterian Church in Coudersport.

Those interested in participating should obtain audition packets, which may be requested by calling 260-9034.

Director Gloria Richardson said that performing members of the Players and of North Country Voices may participate in the chorus in the upcoming revue without auditioning, while those who would like to be considered for solo or small ensemble parts are asked to audition. Also, those who have not been active in Players previously are invited to audition for the upcoming production.

The musical revue is called “100 Years of Broadway” and will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings, May 9 and 10, in the Coudersport Consistory.

Paul Herzig will be producer, with Kathy Mitchell as production assistant and Jared Empson as drama director.

Rehearsals will begin Thursday evening, February 13, at the Presbyterian Church in Coudersport.
