Larry A. Seybert, 72, of, Port Allegany , died Monday
(January 20, 2014) at his home in Port Allegany.
He was born Apr 1, 1941 in West Monterey, a son of Myles J.
and Arlene Keefer Seybert. On Dec 3 1960 in St. Peters Episcopal Church,
Butler, PA, he married Sally Ann Brown, who survives.
Mr. Seybert was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps,
serving from 1959 to 1963.
Mr. Seybert employed by Quaker State in Emlenton, PA for 13
years, transferring to Quaker State in Farmers Valley in 1980, retiring from
Honeywell in 2004.
He was a member of American Legion Frank Burt Post #258,
Port Allegany, PA 16743 , the
Port Allegany Honor Guard and was a long time Member of the Port Allegany Borough Council.
He was a member of the McKean County Landfill Board and the Port Allegany Economic Development Corporation.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, little league
baseball and in recent years his woodworking shop and back yard orchard.

One daughter: Laurel Hubbard of Charlotte, NC
Three sons: Jeff (Brenda) Seybert of Ridgeway, PA, Andy (Val) Seybert of Port Allegany, PA, and John Seybert of Smethport
Two grandsons: David Hubbard and Michael Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents
Visitation will be held on Thursday Jan. 23, 2014 from
1P.M.-2 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany,
PA., where funeral and committal service will be held at 2:00 pm with the Rev.
Randall Headley, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany,
officiating Full Military Honors will be accorded by the Port Allegany Honor
Guard
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.

Allegany Honor Guard, at P.O. Box 241, Port Allegany, PA 16743
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox
Funeral Homes, Port Allegany.
