Volleyball team awards

Several team awards were announced at the annual Lady Gator Volleyball Banquet by Coach Sharon Daniels.  The Blocking Award for the player with the most blocks on the season, and Attacking Award for the player with the most kills on the season went to Brooke Roys; the DSpec Award for the player who displays the best passing fundamentals and has the most digs on the season went to Amber Naylor.  The Assists Award for the player who has the most assists on the season and the Serving Award for the player who has the most assists on the season went to Bethy Bernardi.  The Coach's Award, presented to the athlete who most exemplifies sportsmanship and leadership; who must exhibit a positive attitude, encourage her teammates and accept and build upon constructive criticism; and must demonstrate self-dicipline and self-motivation throughout the entire season; went to Jena Young.  Pictured are Amber Naylor, Jena Young, Coach Daniels and Brooke Roys.  Bethy Bernardi is missing from the photo.  Pam Fischer Photo
