Ruth A.
Bardrick, 90, of Canandaigua, NY, formerly of Catlin Ave., Port Allegany,
passed away Thursday (Dec. 5, 2013) in the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center,
Canandaigua.
Born June
7, 1923, in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Albin G. and Laura Russell
Anderson.
Ruth was a
graduate of the Port Allegany High School, Class of 1941.
Mrs.
Bardrick had been employed with Arizona State University, as coordinator for
the Philosophy Department, retiring in 1989, after 30 years of service.
Surviving
are a niece, Caleen J. (Cyril) Bowser of Farmington, NY; two nephews, David A.
(Louise) Anderson of Phoenix, AZ. and Paul Anderson of Durham, NC; and several
great-nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Wava A. Phillips and Bette A.
Ryan; a brother Russell E. Anderson, and two nephews, Thomas R. Ryan and Joseph
D. Ryan.
There will
be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Sunday (Dec. 8, 2013) at 2
p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.

Ellas Ave., Bath , NY 14840.
Funeral
arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port
Allegany.
