Port A. boro incumbents win / By Martha Knight

PORT ALLEGANY—The four incumbents appear to have won reelection to the Port Allegany Borough Council, defeating a former council member, according to preliminary results.

Apparent winners, all Republicans, are Andrew Johnson, with 232 votes; Francis (Sam) Dynda Jr., 209; Judith A. Taylor, 195; and David A. Fair, 151.

Finishing a close fifth in a best-four-of-five race was Democrat Lewis Duell, with 143 votes.
