The Potter-McKean Players will present residents of the two
counties with an early Christmas gift: performances of the beloved Charles
Dickens story, “A Christmas Carol.”
In fact, the gift will be given four times: in the Coudersport
High School auditorium on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7, and in the
Port Allegany Junior-Senior High School auditorium Thursday and Friday,
December 19 and 20.
Cora Wilson Greenwood’s adaptation of the Dickens story
brings it alive on stage. Director Jared Empson suggests that it is suitable
for children as well as adults to attend, so families may want to enjoy the
performances together.
Curtain times are at 7 p.m. all four nights. Tickets will
cost $10 for adults and $6 for students, at the door, with discounts available
for prior purchase and blocks of tickets.
