A
couple of girls have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
Tori Tanner (pictured left) and her sister, Alyssa, got a big surprise in
school Friday, November 8, when their father, Tony Tanner, stopped in for a
visit. Mr. Tanner is in the Air National Guard stationed out of Niagara
Falls, NY, and has been for 19 years. He works in aircraft structural
maintenance. He left on June 26th and was in Al Jahara Kuwait until his
return to Niagara Falls on November 7. Upon his return to Port Allegany,
he went to the Port Allegany Elementary School to see Tori, who is in fourth
grade and Alyssa, who is a Kindergarten student. Mr. Tanner is also a
member of the Port Allegany Police Department. Welcome home, Tony! Pam
