Celebrating with the Veterans
As has become custom, Veterans from the
Port Allegany Veterans Memorial visited PAES with a service celebrating
Veterans. Master of Ceremonies was Mike Hadden. The National Anthem
was sung by the Elementary Ensemble under the direction of Annamaria
Myers. Students demonstrated how to fold the flag and then presented
the flag to elementary principal, Tracy Kio. A gun salute was offered
by the Honor Guard under the direction of Joe Knell and taps was played
by Adam Koehler. Following the ceremony, the Veterans went to the
cafeteria for a question and answer period with students from Level 5
