U10 Travel Soccer Team
The Port Allegany Gator U10 Travel Team
played the Coudersport Falcon Travel Team in its first of two games
Saturday, September 28 in Coudersport. The rematch will be held
Saturday, October 5 in Port Allegany at 3 p.m.
There is no recorded score for the traveling teams, regardless of
whether one team or the other scores more goals, the league is a
developmental league that encourages basic skills, the learning of the
game, fair play and sportsmanship. Matt Lawton coached the Port team
assisted by Eric Sauers. Other soccer action taking place on Saturday,
October 5 includes a PAHS Varsity Lady Gator game starting at 11 a.m. The Port U12 game will be at 1:30 and the Port U15 game will begin at 4:30. The games will be played on the field behind Verailia. Pam Fischer Photos
