BRADFORD, PA—The
University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s office of admissions will host open
houses and visitation days in October and November.
Open houses will be
held Saturday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 2. Open houses give prospective
students a chance to experience everything that Pitt-Bradford has to offer.
During the open
houses, Pitt-Bradford’s student ambassadors will give tours to prospective
students and their families. Additionally, several current Pitt-Bradford
students will talk during a student panel about academics, campus life and
athletics, which will give prospective students a view of the university
through the eyes of current students.
According to Alex
Nazemetz, director of admissions, “The best way to learn about Pitt-Bradford is
to visit.”
Registration for the
open houses will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons.
Students who attend an open house will have their $45 application fee waved.
Visitation days will
be held Monday, Oct. 14, and Monday Nov. 11. During visitation days
Pitt-Bradford will host families for lunch. Additionally, members of the
admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions, and student ambassadors
will offer tours.
Registration for
visitation days will begin at 10 a.m. in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons.
