Helen M. Baker, 92, of Port Allegany, died Sunday
(October 13, 2013) in the UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
She was born Apr 13, 1921 in Port Allegany, a daughter of John A. and Rena M. Smith Creeley, On March 22, 1939 in Port Allegany; she married Bernard J. Baker, who died May 24, 1997.
Mrs. Baker attended Elkland High School.
Mrs. Baker owned and operated Helen's Fashion Village in Port Allegany for 12 years retiring in 1991.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Port Allegany.
She is survived by
One daughter: Connie (John) R. Benson of Port Allegany, PA
Two sons: Robert (Cindy) Baker of Roulette, PA, William (Donna) J. Baker of Roulette, PA
Eight grandchildren: Tim (Dodie) Baker, Steve (Lori) Baker, Brenda Watson, Luke (Shari) Baker, John (Susan) Benson, Scott Baker and Amy (Tom) Murphy
Three step-grandchildren: Kari (Chris) Payne, Nicholas McKervey and Megan (Andy) Trimm
13 great grandchildren: Ryan, Lorena, Shantyl, Jessica, Kayla, Caleb, Kelsey, Devon, Mitchell, Shelby, Sam, Marcus and, Marissa

One brother: Jack Creeley of Hamburg, NY

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband, a grandson Matt Baker, a granddaughter Cheri Baker, 3 brothers: George, Harold and Vern Creeley, and 3 sisters: Gladys Hardes, Verna Creeley, and Betty Elwood.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, Port Allegany. Funeral and committal service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM in United Methodist Church of Port Allegany with the Rev Randall Headley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
