Melinda S. Lewis, 51, of South Ave., Bradford,
PA, formerly of Port Allegany, passed away Monday (Sept. 9, 2013) in UPMC
Hamot, Erie, PA.
Born December 15, 1961, in Oak Harbor, WA, she was a daughter of Richard P. and
Elizabeth A. Snyder Lewis.
Melinda was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of the Port Allegany
High School, Class of 1981. She also attended the First Baptist Church, Port
Allegany.
Surviving in addition to her father, Richard and stepmother, Dian, are two
brothers, Robert J. (Pam) Lewis of Baltimore, MD, Randall T. Lewis of
Bellingham, WA, a half-brother, Emery C. (Patti) Lewis of Bradford, 3
stepbrothers, Gary A. (Judy) Leschner of Port Allegany, Paul J. (Kathy)
Leschner of Coolidge, AZ, John C. (Penny) Leschner of Denver, CO; a stepsister,
Kathleen D. La Grange of Deltonia, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Lewis.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Monday (Sept. 16, 2013) at 11
a.m., in the First Baptist Church, Port Allegany, with Rev. Michael Culver,
pastor, officiating.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
