The rousing finale of the fifth annual Festival of Choirs USA blended
members of at least four choirs, as the event drew to a close Saturday
evening. The choir of First Baptist Church of Cuba, N.Y. won in its
size division, and the United Methodist Church of Smethport was another
winner. St. Eulalia, Sawyer Evangelical and Arcade, N.Y. United
Methodist Church choirs received certificates of merit, in scoring so
tight only nine percentage points separated "top from bottom," according
